Taxi did not arrive so I called. John Port travel told Taxi code they could not fulfill the booking. This message did not get through to me. John Port were great and got someone out and to the train station urgently. We managed to jump in the train by the skin of our teeth. Very stressful experience. Will not be using Taxicode again.

Extremely over priced and very rude people at the taxi company appointed by the website. Won’t be recommending or using again. We made an error on the time we needed our taxi and realised straight away, absolute nightmare to change and was told we would loose 75% of the booking if we cancelled and rebooked straight away. We even rang twice to confirm our times had been change and paid an extra £18 as requested. Out bound taxi was fine and drive was lovely. Return taxi eventually turned up 45 mins late after a phone to ask where our taxi was to be spoken too very rudely. Replacement taxi arrived and the drive then asked for payment even though we had paid online, but asking for significantly less than what we had already paid online. Extremely disappointed 😔

My taxi was booked for 230pm to collect me from my arriving flight into East Midlands. Your question about ‘how late was your driver’ doesn’t fit the situation as your driver was an hour early!! Your driver rang my number multiple times from 1pm-130pm. I was in the air so unable to take any calls. My flight arrived earlier than scheduled so I rang his number back about 145pm only to be told ‘sorry you’ve no-showed for your flight, so taxi is no longer available’. I advised him the booking was for 230pm so it’s not possible to be a no-show but he confirmed to me that it was for 130pm. I checked my email and it clearly stated 230pm which I told him. He said he was now on another job and I had no booking for 230pm. He then said he would try to fix it and would call me back. Which he did only to say sorry there’s nothing he could do. I told him I would look for another cab to take me home and then he said that he would try to fix it again and kept me on hold for nearly 5mins so I hung up at that point. So no, I’m not happy with your service. What I didn’t realise at the time was the car was prepaid too!! How you can justify taking payment and no-showing yourself makes me wonder how you operate a taxi service in the first instance. Would I like to leave a tip you now ask?? I would like a full refund for the service that was prepaid and not provided. Also can I suggest that you educate drivers when collecting from the airport to physically get out of their cars to check the flight arrivals so they know exactly where their passengers are.
