“Booking confirmation email contained no details as to how to find our driver and the only phone number provided for the taxi company was wrong. Only after emailing to cancel our booking, did we receive contact from the driver who claimed to be at the airport. By the time we managed to actually find each other and get in the cab, we were already 35 mins later setting off than the time I had specified on my booking. I had specified 2:45pm, the driver claimed he had been told 3pm, and it was 3:20pm by the time we actually departed the airport. Ultimately, we missed our train home by 2 minutes, costing me an additional £150 in train tickets and all due to the appalling communication between Taxicode, the taxi service provider and ourselves. So no, I absolutely do not wish to leave a tip - other than to recommend other clients do not use Taxicode. ”

“The driver was 45 minutes late.
The service calls were from Pakistan, difficult to understand with a baby crying in the background and I am not making this up!
The operator in Pakistan first told us that there was traffic. On a second call the operator told us that there was car trouble.
Once a driver did show up, he told us that he only received the sall (mandate) 5 minutes ago.
When we finally got on the road, there wasn't traffic, they were dishonest. STAY AWAY - DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. ”

“Driver was g8.
The problem was I recieved emails from 2 people 6 hours before pick up to pay an extra £30 for child seats(15 each way ).
I made this booking 3 months ago and (£10 each way was mentioned ). Had no choice but to pay £20, ( Why not contact me in the previous weeks to sort this out?) get up at 3am and had email saying no child seats. Took 3 days and lots of emails to get refund of £20.”
