Soho Car Services was established in 1993 in the heart of the West End of London to provide a car service where previously the options were limited and confused. In those days, there was only a choice of black cabs or an unregulated, unreliable 'minicab' scenario. Since that time, the Public Carriage Office (PCO) has undertaken the licensing of private hire operators and drivers so that, now, the private hire trade can be expected to provide a reliable and safe option. During the last twelve years, alongside the regulation of the trade, Soho Car Services has built a reputation for reliability, trustworthiness and a friendly, helpful approach to its clients. This has meant that an ever-increasing group of clients, both corporate and private west end mini cabs, have come to depend on Soho Car Services for all their transportation needs.

“I was not happy with the service and contacted you however I received no reply. I was charged extra money by the driver for no reason and felt harassed at 2 in the morning to give it, this should be refunded to me. Pick up was to be at 00:10, didn’t reach me till almost 1am.”

“I was sent confirmation that I had a Mercedes booked and on the night before the supplier was changed and I got a Prius. I paid £130 up front and then was asked to pay for the £6 additional for the drop off and told it would be the same for the pick up. This was not In The terms of business and seems pretty cheeky trying to slip this in the night before pick up with the new supplier. Can I ask why you allocate a driver and then the company then sub it out to a company for a cheaper fee. The Croydon cars company confirmed they had been paid £103 - I paid £130 plus the drop of charges £6. Can I ask if you will refund me the difference? I refused to pay the pick up charge of £6 on the return journey as I was given a fixed price by you. Feedback there is no point allocating a car on booking if you are then going to disappoint. I would be interest to know what happened and why. ”
