“The driver was around 30 minutes late. I called the TAXICODE number to find out where my taxi was. No answer but got a call back. Was asked for my ref number which I had to find on my phone. Then asked if I had a pen and paper. Explained I was on a night out in Manchester so don't carry such items. A little time later I received a call from the driver who apologies for being late and would be about 15 minutes. When he arrived, he was park two streets away (due to road works) other taxis did manage to pull up where I was waiting. I made my way to my taxi at which point my phone died. The driver was apologetic and very polite. I was grateful he had arrived but would have preferred a text message prior to me chasing to say he was running late.”
