No correspondence from either Taxi code or Purple cabs regarding change of pick up time. The telephone number is out of service for purple cabs so no confidence in whether the car was to turn up or not. Terrible service won’t use again and should not be charged for this booking

I received a phone call 10 minutes prior to the arrival time as agreed the previous day to say that my taxi was not able to come and pick me up. That he still had a passenger in the car and would not be able to make it. the driver then cut me off I arranged for another taxi but in the meantime this company was telling me that the taxi had arrived and the messages I received were not making any sense given the driver had cancelled the booking . I now find out that Purple taxis have charged me for a journey they cancelled . I will never ever use this company again especially as I was using them to make a flight. I would not recommend the use of this company to anyone.

The driver was going to be 1/2 hour late, and I was stood freezing in the cold, so I phoned him and cancelled the booking. Please could you refund the money.

I would have appreciated a number for the driver ahead of arrival , we got nervous when we showed up and had still mot heard anything. Luckily he was there and all ok. Thanks

Book car online the day before travel and opt to pay by cash and confirmed. It was not until next morning that I received email to say that car will not be sent unless fare to be paid by card in advance, it was less than 45 min before the time booked, and no one answered phone when calling back. That’s not a good arrangement, rather you just say that you don’t accept booking to be paid by cash ! Also need to pay £2 more by debit card as agreed per confirmation the day on online booking.
