“After making my booking through your website I received a text from Taxicode informing me my booking had been cancelled.
After receiving this I made alternative arrangements.
I called to confirm the cancellation and was told “oh no, it hasn’t been cancelled , it’s been rearranged” at no point was this information relayed to me after the cancellation text and I only found out when I called you which at that point it was too late! I went on to try and explain the situation and that I know longer needed the booking based on the cancelled text I received to incredibly be told “if you want to cancel the booking you cannot receive a refund “
Despite me trying to explain the only reason I was cancelling was due to the text message I received from yourselves and that subsequently I had made alternative arrangements was again told I couldn’t cancel and receive a refund.
This case has now been passed on to trading standards as well as every social media outlet I can find. This is a shocking way to run a business
