“The outbound journey was on time but the return journey was not. The taxis didn't turn up at the booked time, so I waited half an hour before ringing the company. When I rang the company it just went to answer phone. I left a message but no one rang me back. I rang back after about 10 minutes and again after 20 minutes but straight to answer phone again. My wife tried ringing and left a message as well but no one replied. After an hour we decided to join a taxi queue but I thought I would try once more. This time someone answered and said he would try and contact the driver while I was still on the line. He did this and the driver didn't answer and the call then dropped out. I rang him back and he said we didn't have a return booked and that taxicode hadn't given them the return details. I explained to him that was rubbish and his driver knew we had a return booked as we had arranged where to meet and at what time it was booked for. He then said he would get the driver to ring me. The driver then rang back about 10 minutes later and admitted it was his mistake and he was on his way but it would take him about 30 minutes to get to us. He arrived about 1 hour 40 minutes late and apologised for the mix up, saying he had mis understood the arrangements. This situation was very stressful as we though we where going to be left stranded or way out of pocket. All in all it wasn't a very good experience and would think twice before booking again. ”

“I booked the service using the Sawston Taxis website. It was easy to use and book and pay for a taxi. We had to change the destination one way and the agent who helped me change the destination was very helpful. The driver arrived on time to take us to the event and bring us back. Will definitely use the service again.”
