My driver Shujaur phoned me saying that he would be a lttle early, lucky he was as traffic going into my destination was a bit slow moving. He took me right to the main entrance. We arrived in good time. After my appointment he picked me up and got me home in good time. Lovely Mercedes suv., very comfortable. Shujaur was very friendly and we chatted on both parts of the journey. A very pleasant experience all round,

This was not a good experience at all. At the time the booked driver was due arrive and some time after when he hadn’t, I was calling the 2 numbers provided in my booking confirmation and both were sent to voicemail. When my call was eventually answered, I was misled and told that the driver was on his way, he was not. A different driver was finally dispatched, who turned out to be an uber driver. I could have ordered an uber myself, but I wanted the certainty of a pre-booked taxi at a specified time and paid a premium for the privilege. But I did not receive the service I paid for and was left waiting outside in the cold as I didn’t want to miss the driver. An hour after the confirmed pick up time, I was advised that the initial driver had broken down, a fact which would have been known by the despatch team as the driver should have called to ensure an alternative was provided.l if he was unable to fulfil the booking. I have been mid-led and charged for a service that was not received. I appreciate that unexpected events may occur, but the communication only began when I called multiple times and I was provided a cheaper uber service for the original booked price, this is not acceptable.
